People often say that motivation doesn't last... well neither does bathing (STINK), that's why we recommend it daily.
We know that change can take time - attitudes and thoughts do not change overnight (even when there is an immense pay-off for your commitment). One of the most difficult aspects of change is the need to make a day-to-day, minute-to-minute commitment to change, because every time you miss an opportunity for change, you further ingrain your old obstacles.
The subconscious mind is like a great computer, and affirmations are the commands that program it to act in way you choose. If you feed it with negative thoughts and words, the mind will produce negative conditions, but if you feed it with positive thoughts and words it will produce positive conditions and circumstances!
Studies show that daily affirmations are a widely practiced method for attaining success and accelerating your ability to achieve goals. It's no coincidence that the most successful people of all time like Thomas Edison, Maya Angelou, Henry Ford and Oprah Winfrey were/are people who constantly read (and wrote) positive affirmations - and the one thing that they also seemed to have in common was that they “acted as if” what they desired most already existed before they had it
What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
By re-framing negative thoughts and actions, we can HELP ELIMINATE BULLYING and help make real people's lives MUCH BETTER - the use of positive affirmations can successfully treat people with low self-esteem, depression, and other mental health conditions. This helps those who are being bullied AND those who are bullies (hurt people, hurt people)...
...try looking at positive affirmations this way – many of us do repetitive exercises to improve our body's physical health and condition. Affirmations are like exercises for our mind and outlook; these positive mental repetitions can reprogram our thinking patterns so that, over time, we begin to think, and act, in a new way.
